Livewire's diverse set list of Funk, Soul, Motown and Rock and Roll, combined with popular contemporary hits is guaranteed to get you dancing. Few bands can boast performing with internationally renowned artists, the likes of Fleur East, Girls Aloud, Mick Hucknall, Liberty X, and ABC's Martin Fry, but Livewire's unique mix of male and female lead vocals has seen the band play alongside the best.
Heavenly Thrillbillies are a country trio who play classics from Johnny Cash and Bill Monroe and more contemporary music from Stray Birds, Chatham County Line. The musical line up is Guitar, Banjo and Stand-up Bass, with the occasional Mandolin, Harmonica and Dobro thrown in for good measure. Country as it's meant to sound !
Duke Street are a live covers band from the Scottish borders with a huge range of rock classics in their repetoire - everything from Crowded House, the Stones & Pink Floyd but also more modern sounds such as Ed Sheeran and Rag'n Bone Man.
Not your covers band, these guys will bring new and old-school Hip Hop to the festival! The band has over 10 years' experience touring around a range of venues in cities such as London, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Edinburgh. They might be suited and booted but, with contemporary and old school hip hop classics under their hats, these guys will put an entertaining and edgy twist on your evening reception.
Rock Choir is the UK's largest and most popular contemporary choir, with in excess of 25,000 members in over 340 local communities nationwide including Chester le Street, Durham, Newcastle, Hexham, Ponteland and Sunderand. It offers adults and teenagers the chance to sing and perform popular contemporary songs, with no auditions and no requirements to read music or have any previous singing experience. Rock Choir is for anyone who just loves to sing!
Ponteland's very own community wind band with around 40 members. They play a wide range of music, including film music and musicals.
A four piece band performing an eclectic mix of carefully cultivated songs for any occasion. Dancing is guaranteed!
The Pretty Weeds will entertain you with tight, energetic music from the 50s to today. Songs from a range of artists including: The Beatles, Blondie, Pretenders, Fleetwood Mac, T. Rex, Republica, Jackson 5, Jessie J, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Caro Emerald, Duffy, Alanis Morisette, KT Tunstall, Pink, Meghan Trainor, Gloria Gaynor, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Chuck Berry, Wild Cherry.
The beer festival will be held next to the rugby pitch at Ponteland Leisure Centre
