Our fourth annual Ponteland Beer Festival was a fantastic success attracting over 3,000 attendees and we plan to make it even better next year!
We are now looking forward to 2018!
Ponteland Beer Festival 2018: Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd April
Ponteland RFC would like to say a huge thank you to all of our sponsors and the community of Ponteland and surroundings for such great support in advance of the 2017 Ponteland Beer Festival.
Running to an extended third day, with the addition of Sunday, there will be over 100 real ales and lagers, and 40 ciders to choose from as well as prosecco, wine and soft drinks; a terrific range of different drinks will be on offer catering for all tastes. Our Prosecco and wine bar will add a little sparkle to occasion, selling quality wines and bubbly and Fentimans will provide the soft drinks and mixers.
The admission price includes a commemorative glass, programme and 3 drinks tokens. Additional drinks tokens will be available at 3 for £5.
While there's no doubt that your thirst will be taken care of, we'll also be able to satisfy your hunger with a range of food on offer during the event.
There'll be food available on each day and Longhorns Barbeque Smokehouse will be returning to provide a range of their very popular smoked BBQ food.
The music will begin with the acclaimed brass band the Dunston Silver Band. Following a fantastic debut in 2016, Northstar will return to perform on Friday evening. On Saturday, music will be provided by Ponteland Community Wind Band at Lunchtime, Ponteland RFC end their season with a home game against Seaton Carew then two terrific bands will entertain guests from late Saturday afternoon in the form of Holy Moly and the Crackers followed by The Richard Kain Band. On Sunday, Ponteland are hosting a Northumberland County Rugby Game, and we will be entertained by Folk Band, Alistair Anderson and Northlands.
The beer festival will be held next to the rugby pitch at Ponteland Leisure Centre
You are not permitted to bring your own food or alcoholic beverages into the festival. All purchases of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks must be made with tokens as follows:

No Cash will be accepted, tokens will be available at all times for purchase at the Token Table.
Minimum purchase of 3 Tokens - £5.00
No alcoholic drinks will be served to anyone appearing to be under 18 years of age unless proof of age
can be produced. No alcoholic drinks will be served to anyone suspected of being drunk or to anyone
attempting to purchase for persons suspected of being drunk.
Please help us to keep the site clean and tidy by using the litter bins/facilities provided. Accompanied Children under 12 will be allowed inside the Marquee until 6.00 pm.
No Children Under 18 will be allowed entry into the Marquee after 6.00 pm. Please do not
bring dogs inside the Marquee. The Marquee is a 'NO SMOKING AREA'.
